The law and regulatory authority of India is working hard every year for making the rules with respect to tech segment as the booming phase of tech segment is on the verge and therefore, the Government of India do need to take proper appropriate steps for it so that they can stop the criminal activity with respect to this and also can maintain the proper law and order system in their country.

The Government of India seeing the continuous growth and approach of tech departments in the country has passed a new bill for regulation of this tech industry which is known as Digital personal Data protection act 2023.

There is nothing hidden in the fact that with the increase in tech world people are more overly maintaining all their data and files in their computer system and mobile phones which are usually work in accordance to the modern tech system but although tech is been at rapid growth the most common effect which people commonly used because of tech usage is cyber crime as the personal and private information are often available due to the feasibility tech is providing to the common people over internet, mobile phones and computer systems which are always connected through various servers which further makes the work of hackers easy to hack and use such information which is further been use for criminal activity such as fraud, defamation, money laundering and so on.

Therefore, seeing such a scenario an act has been enacted in August 2023 by the Parliament of India which is actually a simple act of 33 pages which defines various laws and regulations and punishment for data. So, if in case any sort of tort is found in data then protecting one's rights can knock on the doors of the court so that one can get relief in such cases.

Therefore, from August 2023 one needs to do full compliance of the laws mentioned in Digital personal Data protection act 2023 if one belongs to the field of tech or is using tech.

Also all the major tech companies need to submit their report timely in accordance with the above mentioned act so that the Government of India can analyze that there is no fraudulent happening.
